Welcome to My Blog & Thank You!

Firstly, I'd like to say how grateful I am that you are taking the time out of your busy day to read my blog :) I know how busy we all are so I promise to make this time worth your while and fill your mind with some uplifting and positive stuff <3

I’m Emma, a mum to Heidi (3) and dog mum to Jack Russell Arthur (1). Sadly, in March 2020 my life took a turn and I began a journey into Widowhood at only 31 years old. Nothing can prepare you for the shock, pain and aftermath that sudden death of a loved one brings. This blog shares the ups and downs of my journey so far in the hope that it helps others overcome similar experiences. I also hope to help people who have been through serious challenges, trauma and big changes in their life who are looking for hope, comfort and inspiration that you can manage this and still be a good parent, look after yourself physically and mentally and learn to live your new life path well and fully rediscover the meaning of life 😊

You can turn your TRAUMA into TRIUMPH, your WOUNDS into WISDOM and your PAIN into POWER. I promise. I am excited to share with you all exactly how I am turning Widowhood into my Superpower!

It’s been 9 months since my life was completely flipped on its head and I can tell you, it’s already been a journey of ups, lots of downs mixed in with HUGE self-discovery and incredible mindset shifts.

I feel lucky that in 2019 my life had led me, after years of self development around positive psychology, to retrain as a Therapist with the Marisa Peer School. I had already been working on my mindset a lot and I am truly so grateful I had started this work prior to the biggest test in my life hitting me in Spring 2020. Little did I know when I qualified in Oct 2019 what lay ahead of me just a mere 5 months later. This re-education has played a huge part in helping me to begin to work my way through the most horrific grief journey and rebuilding mine and my little family's lives.

I cannot wait to help others do the same.
